In short
We agree the scope and price in writing before work starts. Retainers run three months, then month to month with 30 days’ notice. We never guarantee rankings or citations. You own everything we make for you once it’s paid for.
1. Who we are
Answerline (“we”, “us”) is an AI search and SEO agency based at 1100 South Lamar Blvd, Suite 210, Austin, TX 78704. These terms apply to our website and to any work we do for you unless a signed agreement says otherwise.
2. Scope of work
Each engagement starts with a written proposal that lists the prompts we track, the engines we monitor, the deliverables and the price. Work outside that proposal is quoted separately before we start it.
3. Fees and payment
The visibility audit is invoiced in full when it starts. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Invoices are due within 15 days. We may pause work on invoices more than 30 days overdue.
4. Term and cancellation
Retainers have a fixed first term of three months. After that they continue month to month, and either side can end them with 30 days’ written notice. If you cancel the audit before we deliver it, we refund the unused portion.
5. No guarantees
AI engines change their answers daily and decide for themselves what to cite. We report what we measure honestly, but we can’t promise any ranking, citation, share of answer or traffic result. Past results shown on this site are examples, not promises.
6. Your responsibilities
You give us the access we need (site CMS, analytics, a contact who can approve changes) and confirm that the facts you give us about your product are accurate.
7. Ownership
Once an invoice is paid, you own the pages, copy and reports we created for you under it. We keep our own methods, tools and prompt-tracking software.
8. Confidentiality
We keep your data, results and plans private. We only name you as a client or publish your results with your written permission.
9. Liability
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost revenue.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
